Bat Stained Glass Workshop

Approximate size: 8”x7”

Create your own stained glass piece in this beginner-friendly workshop! Participants will learn the basics of stained glass assembly perfect for displaying in a window or gifting to someone special.

All pieces will come pre cut. Choose between an orange pumpkin or a blue/teal pumpkin at checkout. All glass will be opaque (not see through). One large flower and two small flowers provided. Choose your own petal colors.

Black and copper patina offered for solder.

You will be foiling and soldering glass.

Please arrive early if you plan to eat dinner, or be prepared to eat away from your workstation. Absolutely no food or drinks are permitted at the soldering stations. Separate tables will be available upstairs for eating and drinking, and there will be plenty of time during the workshop to take a break and enjoy your food.

Important Safety Information:

Stained glass work involves glass, soldering equipment, lead solder, and tools that may cause cuts or burns. HEPA filtration will be used during the workshop to help filter the air.

By registering for this event, participants acknowledge the inherent risks associated with stained glass work. Registration also serves as acknowledgment of the workshop waiver, releasing Aurora Artistries, LLC from liability associated with participation. For minors, this acknowledgment is made by the registering parent or guardian.

Safety is taken seriously. Participants will be provided with:

• Safety glasses and appropriate protective equipment

• Instruction on proper and safe tool handling

• Burn cream and bandages available on site

• Close supervision and guidance throughout the workshop

Every reasonable precaution will be taken to minimize risk; however, participants should understand that minor cuts and burns are possible when working with stained glass materials and equipment.

No experience is necessary. All materials and your finished project are included.
